My Jane Iredale Color sample kit is just as I was hoping it would be. I was unsure what the actual foundation Color would be but am very happy with all the colours in the compact. I am 61 years young and have a normal slight tan most of the year. This will be perfect for touch ups for my son's wedding in March. The colours are so versatile& can suit casual and special occasion equally well. Due to this special day I personally feel I would like more of a complete full coverage but can brush over with the pressed mineral foundation to give a softer finish. The compact even has the brushes- so good as a take anywhere kit. As the product indicates it is for medium- dark complexions. I can highly recommend this as a well priced, beautifully presented practical addition to anyone's travel or everyday makeup kit. It comes well packaged so no broken eye shadows etc before we even get to use them.
